Course objectives
Students are introduced to intercultural education, with interculturalism and intercultural aspect of this theme. The subject consist of lectures to single aspects, which closely touch with intercultural education.

Syllabus
  • Illustration of ideas like racism and it´s products, discrimination, racial violence, interculturality, cultural shock, xenophobia, intoleration, pogrom, fundamentalism, terrorism, agression, holocoust, genocide etc.. Migration – history and present, immgration in our conditions, asyl policy of the CR. Present situation in the Czech Republic – ethnic minorities in our country. Czechs and Roma – historical views and perspectives. Intercultural education – intercultural, multiethnic. Introduction to human rights. Antisemetism – the most reletless hate in mankind history. Churches, religions, sects.
