Course objectives
The course follows the course RJ2BP_RZS1 Russian for Beginners 1. Practice and fixation of printing and writing form of Russian alphabet, pronunciation, and intonation. Improvement of reading and listening skills, and basic oral and written expression. Introduction to new lexical stock and basics of Russian grammar. Work with visual and audiovisual materials.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student will be able to discuss topics within the topics discussed; use the new lexicum correctly; they will improve in written and oral expression.

Teaching methods
Two-hour seminar. Students work up homework and within an individual work they elaborate lexical excercises and essays during the study. Students work individually/in groups and they continuously read Russian texts.
Assessment methods
Successful completion of a written credit test of the subject matter - see the syllabus. You need to reach at least 75% to succeed. The test is written in the exam period, the pre-term is possible only in the so-called "credit week". Earlier termination is possible for students who go to the final examination (they must inform the teacher about it right at the beginning of the semester). Attendance is not mandatory.
