- The seminar is the continuation of the course Leisure time education (Lecture) and Leisure Time Education 1 - Game Methodology. The seminar focuses on the methodical preparation of practical activities in leisure time. The student will try to prepare and implement a leisure time activitiy in a safe group, including a reflective assessment. Part of this is the elaboration of methodological sheets that will help to structuralize preparation for activities. Students are expected to have the ability of cultivated presentation of themselves in front of their classmates, the ability to organize a group, the ability to clearly and logically explain the workflow of the presented activity, the ability to process the electronic documents (methodical sheets) at a didactically elaborate level. Possible presentation of the student in front of the group must be didactically elaborated with the use of available audiovisual techniques. The ability of self-reflection and accepting the feedback from other students, responding professionally and meaningfully to the suggestions and comments of colleagues within the assigned task is also essential.

- Course objectives
- In the seminar the student: - creates a portfolio of activities and also gets familiar with other students’ activities Each student will present 10 methodical plans, one workshop will be let in the seminary.

- The student will be able to: 1) lead leisure time activities for any target group
- Syllabus
- Thematic areas of leisure activities / tasks: 1. Sports activities (the student has the task of elaborating a methodology of sports activities that are interesting and unconventional. It is possible to create a proposal for various activities or to develop one sporting activity). 2. Art and handicraft activities (the student has the task of elaborating the methodology of art and handicraft activities, that are interesting and unconventional. The methodological sheets must take into account the age of the participants and the level of their psychological development). 3. Activation of seniors, leisure activities for the elderly (the student has the task of elaborating the methodology of activities for the elderly, it is necessary to take into account and at the seminar explain the developmental psychology of this social group). 4. Artistic activities (photo, video, singing, dance: the student has the task of elaborating a methodology of artistic activities that are interesting, unconventional and could enrich the other classmates). 5. Activities aiming at the development of creativity (the student has the task of elaborating a methodology of activities aimed at the development of creativity, the use of various multimedia tools is possible and desirable, the age of the participants and the level of their psychological development must be taken into account in the methodological sheets). 6. Activities regarding global developmental education (the student has the task of elaborating a methodology of activities on GDE topics, for this task it is appropriate to use / recycle items of daily use, etc.) 7. Leisure activities focused on various holidays and traditions of the year (the student has the task of elaborating a methodology of activities that are thematically focused on various holidays during the year. In the methodological sheets, it is necessary to take into account the age of the participants and the level of their psychological development). 8. Therapeutic activities (artetherapy, music therapy, ergotherapy ...): the student has the task of elaborating a methodology of activities that are of a therapeutic nature. A part of the task is to explain and describe the therapeutic component of the activity. 9. The design of leisure facilitiy (the student will prepare a proposal for a leisure time facility that does not exist in the Czech Republic or is not available in a particular region where it is proposed) The proposal will include: targeting of the facility, target group, specification of the employees and motivation for its existence, the project will also include: interest sections, creative teams, space provision, rules of behavior in the facility, etc.). 10. Design of a ten-day stay program (the student will prepare a plan for long-term residency education / training events.) The selected student will develop a ten-day detailed program of a camp / school in nature with all the requisites. The plan must include: necessary oraganizational directions - hygienical guidelines, requirements for the pedagogical workers, documentation; furthermore the duration of the camp, the target group, the number of participants, the place of stay, the program content, the whole-camp motivation, the material security, etc. The residency event must be presented to the classmates in an unconventional way.) Further: 11. Cooking (the student has the task of elaborating a methodology of activities related to culinary art, ie preparation of dishes and snacks, it is essential to use the minimal financial resources for this task. Maximum cost allowed per one activity is 30 CzK. Learning outcomes: Student will be able to: 1) lead leisure time activitiy for any target group 2) critically evaluate the course of preparation and implementation of leisure activity 3) characterize individual leisure activities and determine their suitability for a given target group 4) Work creatively with a variety of materials and working methods
