Course objectives
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to acquire knowledge and skills in the creation of didactic games and creative wooden toys. In the exercises the students will become acquainted with the current concept in the field of making wooden puzzles, puzzle, dominoes, puzzles, wooden puzzles, pulling wooden toys and kits.
Learning outcomes
Students: They will design and describe the aids and tools for the implementation of games and toys. They will propose a technological process of work. They make selected themes of puzzles, games and toys. They reflect current trends in product creation. It explains the principles of safety and hygiene. They work according to their own drawing or technical drawing.
Syllabus
  • Syllabus of exercises: Weeks 1 and 2: Safety and hygiene principles when working with tools and aids. 3rd and 4th week: Didactic space jigsaws made of wood and kit. 5th and 6th week: Wooden motor games, logic, assignment, dice, mosaics, cubes. 7th and 8th week: Puzzle sorting, inserting and teaching. Weekends 9th and 10th: Logic Jigsaw Puzzles and Puzzles, Devil's Node, Jenga, Hanoi Towers, Labyrinths. Weeks 11 and 12: Table board games, pexeso, dominoes.

Assessment methods
Students will create a set of themes for didactic games and creative toys, develop technical and drawing documentation and create didactic sheets for the application of games and toys in the classroom.
