Cíle předmětu
The course is focused on the development of the students' knowledge of the English grammar presented as a system based on consistent rules with emphasis on understanding the underlying principles. The course A deals with the system of English verbs and related phenomena.

  • The course 'Grammar A' focuses on the system of English verbs. Language covered: English tenses in detail with attention to form and usage; categories such as aspect, mood and voice; modal verbs; questions and negatives.

Metody hodnocení
Requirements: attendance (at least 70%, the students unable to meet this requirement are expected to see the teacher and explain their reasons); active participation; all assigned homework; three progress tests; credit test (pass mark 65%)

Missing the class - students are expected to do the work covered in the lesson they missed on their own at home (including homework for next time) and catch up with the group by next lesson. Homework - students are supposed to do the assigned homework whether written or oral tasks.
