- Course objectives
- French sentence construction in comparison with a Czech sentence. The sense of an utterance in French and Czech. Direct and indirect speech. Indirect question. Standard, deviations of valid rules. Anglicisms and Germanisms.
- Syllabus
- 1. Different language formation of the same facts in French and Czech (participle constructions, constructions pour + infinitive, sans + infinitive , trends to the usage of nouns in speech). 2. Direct speech, indirect speech, half-direct speech. Consequence of tenses in these sentences. 3. Indirect question concerning people, things and abstracts, content, the whole sentence 4. Reform of spelling in 1990: compound words, conjugation, nouns plural of foreign word mainly, etc.
