Cíle předmětu
Course goals: To provide an introduction to the development of the American literature from its beginnigs to 1945, explaining artistic periods, literary movements, focusing on writers and their works, developing the reading and narrative skills of students, and their general knowledge of literature. The texts used in classes will represent the most important literary themes and forms arranged chronologically.
