- Course objectives
- This course is dedicated to assisting students become more proficient at delivering a presentation in an academic environment. By the end of the course, students will have increased their knowledge of how to deliver an effective presentation. This knowledge will also encorporate skills at evaluating their own and other people's presentations.
- Syllabus
- This course will meet in person twice during the semester (at the beginning and end) for 6 hour blocks. The first block will be dedicated to discussing what makes presentations effective, seeing some examples of presentations, developing an evaluation rubric, and creating and delivering presenatations in groups.
- Over the course of the semester, the online classroom will be used to develop individual presentations.
- At the end of the semester, in the second block, there will be individual presentations. This will be an oportunity both for practice at delivery skills and at developing evaluation skills.

- Assessment methods
- This course will meet in person twice during the semester (at the beginning and end) for 6 hour blocks. It is a seminar, so attendence is required. In order to successfully finish the course, students must attend all classes, actitively participate in discussions and evaluations, and deliver both a group presentation and an individual one.
