Course objectives
The goal of the subject is to acquaint students with the history of the origin and development of literature for children and youth, with its specific features and to emphasise the importance of the children literature for the development of their personality. At the end of this course, students should be able to apply the acquiered knowledges and skills at the shool.
Syllabus
  • 1. Origin and development of children literature in general. 2. French and world authors of children literature from the beginning until now. 3. French publishers and editions specialised for this kind of literature. 4. Specific genres, comics. 5. Analyses and criticism of texts oriented on young readers.
