- Course objectives
- The goal of the subject are exercises in spoken language understanding and systematic training of Russian spelling in dictations with following correction of mistakes.
- Syllabus
- Spelling. Typology of mistakes: phonological, lexical, morphological. Punctuation. Dictation samples from literature, technical texts, newspaper news. Correction and analysis of the mistakes.

- Teaching methods
- Non-contact teaching. Written tasks wil be issued on the internet information system every Monday, aswers should be given the teacher until Thursday 12 o'clock. Corrected works should be taken by the students during consulting hours, possible problems may be explained.
- Assessment methods
- The credit requirements 1. Regular active participation in the class: two absences per semester are allowed, continuous assessment and doing the required home assignments based on the learnt theory and terminology. 2. Test at the end of course based on the work done in the class.
