Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to play accompaniments of songs, create preludes and postludes to songs. The playing of compositions for listenning of children.
Syllabus
  • Playing instrument – the piano: Playing the scales (c, d, e, f, g a, h minor), cadences in minor, chromatic modulations. The basics of improvisation: Accompaniments to 15 songs of the 2nd grade and 10 songs of the 3rd grade A / melody played in thirds and sixths B / mixed and the general harmony C/ creating the prelude, interlude, postlude in songs D / stylized accompaniment (waltz, syncopated etc.) E / modulations, transpositions to key C, D, Es, E, F, G, A (major) and c, d, e f, g (minor) Playing of 2 compositions of his/her own choice and the technical skill of given student.
