The course also focuses on the preparation of the basis for the final thesis.
Syllabus
  • ArcExplorer – free downable application for the primary and secondary schools. Topographic map of the home town and its neighborhood. Interactive maps published on websites, The maps of Czech Republic, thematic maps (geology, Nature Protection, NATURA, air pollution etc.), other useful websites, their didactic use. Remote Sensing – space images, didactic transformation of the images from the satellite LANDSAT, Space images – observing up-to-date images from satellites MATEOSAT and NOAA, to create the animation on the basis of satellite images to classify the cloudiness in Europe. Virtual walk on Earth – the work with Google Earth. Historical and up-to-date air images – classify the changes of the landscape.
