- Course objectives
- Seminar links to course Introduction to Psychology and Personality Psychology and answers problems witch are lectured in this course. In the end of this seminar student will be able to orient himself in psychological disciplines and basic psychological terminology. At the end of the course the student will be able to understand the issues of the structure and dynamics of personality and will be able to explain particular components of personality, its motivation and the ways to stimulate its development. The student will be able to describe and distinguish psychology as both an academic and practical scientific discipline. Also the student will be able to understand questions and practice of self-reflection in work of teacher.

- 1. Subject matter of psychology and its evolution. Fundamentals of psychological research.
- 2. Modern and postmodern psychology and their concepts of personality.
- 3. Bio-psycho-social conditionality of psyche. Constitutional factors of personality, temperament.
- 4. Consciousness, attention, cognition.
- 5. Thinking, languague and speech.
- 6. Memory and learning.
- 7. Emotions and feelings. Stress, resilience, coping.
- 8. Motivation, volition and personality, needs and interests.
- 9. Imagination and creativity.
- 10. Personality – concept, definition, structure and dynamics. Development of the personality, the role of self-knowledge and self-reflection.
