Prerequisites
Students should attend the course SPSMP_SPP2 Specialization Education of Students with Intellectual Disabilities 1:Education of Pupils with Mild Intellectual Disabilities: Education of Students with Mild Mental Retardation. Students should have the final state exam from Education of Students with Intellectual Disabilities from Bachelor Studies.

Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to: define inclusive education with the focus on individuals with mild intellectual disability; will be able to connect topics together; will be able to place pupils with intellecutal disabilities into the educational system correctly; define conditions of inclusive education of pupils with intellectual disabilities.

  • Mild intellectual disability. Inclusive pedagogy. Integration, inclusion. Individual Educational Plan. Conditions of integration. Forms of integration. Counselling services. The attitudes of society towards people with intellectual disabilities.
