- At the end of the course students should be able to:
1. understand to detailed plant and animal anatomy and morphology;
2. define structure of plant and animal cells and plant tissue;describe animal tissue
3. name structure of root, stalk, leaf, flower, seed and fruit; describe a system of bodies
5. to work with study literature. - Syllabus
- Botany
- 1. Structure of plant cell, nucleus.
- 2. Plant tissue. Premanent tissue. Conducting tissue, xylem, phloem.Functions of plant tissue.
- 3. Anatomy and morphology of root. Phylogeny, ontogeny. Metamorphoses. Economic importance.
- 4. Anatomy of stalk. Phylogeny, ontogeny. Branching, buds. Metamorphoses
- 5. Anatomy and morphology of leaf. Phylogeny, ontogeny. Metamorphoses
- 6. Anatomy and morphology of monocotyledonous plant x dicotyledonous plant.
- 7. Structure of flower. Inflorescence.
- 8. Structure and morphology of fruit and seed. Classification of friuts. Germination of seeds.
- 9. Reproduction of plants. Zoology
- 1. Histology I – animal tissues (dividing), histognesis and intercellular materials
- 2. Histology II – epithelial tissues: structure approach and function approach
- 3. Histology III – connective tissues I - fibrous tissues, cartilages
- 4. Histology IV - connective tissues II – bone tissues, blood tissues
- 5. Histologie V - muscle tissues

- 7. Reproduction - sexual and asexual, onthogenesis of animals, regeneration
