Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able not only to understand the studied texts of the New Testament but also on the basis of the acquired knowledge about the methods of the interpretation to explain the other text of the New Testament.
Syllabus
  • History of the interpretation of Sacred Scripture. Hermeneutics of Sacred Scripture. Methods of exegesis of the New Testament. Explanation of selected texts from New Testament (Synoptic Gospels). Luke 1:1-2:52; Matthew 1:1-2:23 Matthew 5:1-12; Mt 20,1-16.
