Course objectives
After completing the course the student will be able to: - Describe the most important methods of alternative medicine - Define the pros and cons - Apply selected methods into your life
Syllabus
  • 1. Review of the methods and alternative medicine. 2. Alternative medicine and disease prevention, maintaining good physical and mental condition. 3. Natural Healing (Naturopaths, hydrotherapy, macrobiotics, diet). 4. Healing herbs (herbalismus, aromatherapy, Bach essences). 5. Homeopathy and anthroposophic medicine. 6. Manipulative treatment (reflexology, kinesiology, massage). 7. Oriental therapies (acupuncture, shiatsu, acupressure). 8. Treatment of exercise and movement (yoga, tai - chi, aikido, dance therapy). 9. Healing via the senses (color healing, art, music). 10. Paranormal therapy (reiki, regression therapy, psychic surgery).
