- Course objectives
- At the end of this course the student will be able to: describe and explain the principles of PC; understand the principles of work of the individual peripherals and PC components; familiar with the software, its species and related legal matters; work and configure operating systems and work with data; configure MS Windows OS;
- Syllabus
- 1st Basic information about computer technology. (The computer as a tool for teaching the process, use the PC in the form of teaching and teachers at work)
- 2nd Basic concepts used in computer technology. (Bit, bytes, Port, Slot, Peripherals, Information Processor, a file, folder, ...)
- 3rd The history of computers. (Brief introduction to history and development of computer technology)
- 4th Computer hardware. (The base unit and its contents, peripherals)
- 5th Computer software. (Description, basic software, extension software, additional interest and software)
- 6th MS Windows OS. (Installation, the principle function of OS and work in the , desktop, files and folders stored on the disk, ...)
- 7th MS Windows OS. (Basic applications shipped with Windows OS , recovery and description)
- 8th Configuration of the operating system. (Setting up the working environment, control panels, the administration of HW and SW)
- 9th Other operating systems. (Version of Windows, DOS-type systems, UNIX, Linux, MAC OS, Novell system ...)
- 10th Basic work in Linux OS. (Installation, basic configuration, Linux system differences with the MS Windows)
- 11th Working in network ( Connecting to the Internet and local network in operating systems, web, email, browse the LAN)
- 12th Practical exercises and a summary of the substance. (Must theoretical and practical knowledge, practice)
