Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to practise and consolidate basic knowledge and notions presented at the lecture from algebra and atithmetics 3 and their application while solving examples. At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain the followed: Polynomials, roots of polynomials, algebraic equations, solving of algebraic equations, elementary symmetric polynomials, boolean algebra, natural numbers, integers, rational numbers, decimal fraction, irrational and complex numbers.

  • 1. Polynomials, roots of polynomials. 2. Algebraic equations, solving of algebraic equations. 3. Elementary symmetric polynomials. 4. Boolean algebra. 5. Natural numbers, integers. 6. Rational numbers, decimal fraction. 7. Irrational and complex numbers.
