- Course objectives
- In the seminar Develoment of communication competences II. the students will teoretically learn the possibilities of sign language notations and they learn practicaly basics of one of them - SignWriting. So the seminar will link to the seminar Communication of hearing impaired, the aquired skills from it will be used again. The students should understand the sense of the sign language notations and; the should be able to make creative the possibilities of SignWriting using by the education of the children and pupils with hearing impairment; they will be able to develop the communication competzences of the pupils through the visual motoric communication forms. The students will also learn the theory and practice of the communication competences development by the persons with acquired and inborn deafblindness. The will use the skills acquired until this time and will learn to combinate various approaches according to the grade of sight and hearing by the children with deafblindness. They will be able to create the concrete groundwork for the realisation of the communication skills development on the grounds of concrete case report and they will be able to discuse about it. Then the students will learn the principles of the program Baby signs and they will try practicle the metodics of music therapy.

- The development of communication competences in visual motoric communication forms by the persons with hearing impairment, the use of the sign language and other visual motoric forms of communication in the developing of the sign lexicon and other fields of communication competences, possibilities of sign language notations, SignWriting, development of communication by the persons with deafblindness, music therapy, Baby signs.

- Written test (to successfully cope it is necessary to anwer 75 % questions correct), oral exam from the knowledges and skills aquired in the seminar, but also from the whole field of pedagogy of the hearing impaired persons. Practical exam.
