Course objectives
Educational diagnostics or assessment (pädagogische Diagnostik) is an educational discipline that deals with recognizing, assessment and evaluation process of the contentual and structural educational aspects of the process leading to optimization of individual and social development of child, pupils and students. The aim of the course is to introduce future teachers into the educational diagnostics/assessment and create the base for their professional diagnostic/assessment skills.

Theoretical preparation in the form of a participation on the lectures with self-study of specialized sources and electronic distance-learning materials.
Assessment methods
Outcomes from homework and school observation.
Oral or written exam. Written test with 10 questions, to pass the exam min. 5 questions correctly answered are necessary.
