- Course objectives
- In the course are practicing phenomens analyzed in the course Practice language 3. In addition to exercises, which apply grammatical and lexical structures in different communicative situations resulting from lessons 10-17 of textbook Francouzština pro pokročilé from J. Tionová, the emphasis is on the French language in social and cultural context. The course deepens the knowledge on the different language texts. At the end of this course, students are able to: understand extended speech and lectures, articles and reports concerned with contemporary problems provided that the topic is reasonably familiar; interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity, take an active part in discussion in familiar contexts while accounting for, and sustain their views; write an essay or report, pass on information or giving reasons in support of, or against, a particular point of view.

- Follow-up: During the semester, students are preparing for tests to verify their knowledge in course JC3. Ending: credit. Requirements for ending: participation (70%), reading of one book in the French, oral examination of vocabulary, essay on a topic related to reading the book.
