- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- Learning outcomes of the course are focused on applying biological knowledge during the autumn and winter months to the environment of everyday life in accordance with the principles of sustainable life. Practical training at the faculty model garden school (Kejbala workplace) prepares students on a professional and didactic side for teaching subjects of the educational area Man and the World of Work.
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
- Characterize the school garden as a complex educational environment and propose its use for teaching during the autumn and winter months
- Perform phenological observations of model plants during autumn and winter months
- To cultivate and observe the growth of selected plants with pupils of the first grade of primary school in the conditions of the class and on the bed during the autumn and winter months
- Explain and explain the importance of autumn activities in the garden
- Design, implement, and reflect teaching in the school garden using activating teaching methods and taking into account cross-curricular relationships and cross-curricular themes - Learning outcomes

- These are block practical exercises using activating teaching methods that are supported by original worksheets and e-learning study texts.
