Course objectives
After completing the course, students will be able to:
Explain the importance of Funck and classification of trade.
Clarify payments.
He explained the current trends in business.
Describe the legislation on consumer protection.
Syllabus
  • A brief syllabus:
  • 1) Introduction to subject
  • 2) Business management: the definition of business; business entities; risks in the business
  • 3) Trade and its characteristics: the definition of trade; the importance of trade; the economic and business view of the trade; distribution of trade; function of trade; those working in the shop; wholesale; retail; assortment of goods and its breakdown; catchment area; arrangement of stores; other services in store
  • 4) Pricing in the trade: the importance of price in store; methods of determining the price in store; trade increases; discounts and discount
  • 5) Payments: the importance of payment; the distribution of payment; classification of payments; bills and checks
  • 6) Business plan: the importance of business plan; use of business plan; stages of a business plan; structure of the business plan; flexible business plan
  • 7) Consumer protection: warranty period; claims of imperfections in goods; consumer protection laws in the Czech Republic and EU
  • 8) Intangible goods in the shop: marking goods; trademarks and brands used on goods; company; utility model; copyright work; design; designation of origin; patent
  • 9) Commercial obligations: the importance of commercial obligations; ensure commercial obligations; selection of trading partners; damages; interest on the arrears; penalty
  • 10) Distribution channels: the importance of distribution; bodies distribution channels; the creation of distribution channels; trends in distribution; franchising; retail cooperatives; voluntary chain
  • 11) Institutions of control and the importance of public institutions in the trade sector
