- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to: understand and explain culture of prehistoric ages. The informations and experience can employ in his pedagogical practice.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will acquire knowledge of historical processes, facts and phenomena. They will master the basic terminology of the field and will be able to characterize the key features of historical development. They will be orientated in historical literature.
- Syllabus
- Introduction to anthropogenesis. Europe in the older Post-tertiary – Pleistocene. Life of the Paleolithic hunters in the world-known Moravian camps. The oldest art. Mesolithic age and Neolithic revolution. Eneolithic age. Older and middle Bronze Age. Younger and late Bronze Age. Hallstatt – older Iron Age. Celts and their civilization contribution. Romans and barbaric world. Migration of nations.

- Teaching methods
- Lectures and class discussion. On the basic teoretical information fluentely tie two next objects - Practical exercises of archaeology and Archaeological practice. Own teaching will be take place on our research expedition in Znojmo.
