- Course objectives
- In the second semester, the subject is focused on musical semiosis and semantic analysis of program works. Particular attention is paid to fuzzy semiotics.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course the student will be able to understand the the musical semiotics from the pragmatic point of view of including methodological applications in music education.
- Syllabus
- Basic musical semiotic issues (the definition of music, the boundaries of music and extra-music, metacharacters in music - presentation, representation).
- Exemplification of procedures in the music - semiosis.
- Music semiosis as a social psychological process.
- Stratification of music semiosis.
- Problems of semantical analysis of the programme compositions.
