- Course objectives
- The main objective of the course is to develop speaking, reading, writing and listening skills at the Upper-Intermediate Level (level B2 according to CEFR). The basic study material is the coursebook Outcomes Upper Intermediate supplemented by various additional materials. Throughout the semester, students are encouraged to link theory in the classroom to practice via practical tasks. At the end of the course, students should be able to: discuss everyday topics, communicate in everyday situations, read and listen to authentic texts at the Upper-Intermediate level and communicate in the language fluently.
- Learning outcomes
- By the end of the course the students will:
- develop speaking, reading, writing and listening skills at the Upper-Intermediate Level (B2 according to CEFR);
- be able to: discuss everyday topics, communicate in everyday situations, read and listen to authentic texts at the Upper-Intermediate Level and communicate in the language fluently. - Syllabus
- The syllabus includes: speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities.
- Students will participate in weekly activities and complete work outside of class in the coursebook and in MS Teams.
