- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to deepen knowledge in the field of education and intervention in people with severe disabilities and concomitant disabilities with multiple disabilities with a focus on the specifics of education.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will be able to work with special pedagogical methods (diagnostic and educational) and apply support measures in the intervention of people with severe and concomitant disabilities with multiple disabilities.
- Syllabus
- 1. Framework Educational Programme for the Field of Education Elementary School Special. 2. Education of pupils with severe disabilities and concomitant disabilities with multiple disabilities - intervention measures, technical support. 3. Specifics of education, determinants of education in pupils with severe disabilities and concomitant disabilities with multiple disabilities. 4. Developmental peculiarities in individuals with severe disability and concomitant disability of multiple defects. 5. Support of a child with severe disability and concomitant disability multiple defects. 6. Specifics in the learning process in pupils with severe disabilities and concomitant disabilities multiple disabilities. 7. Development of thinking, memory, imagination. 8. Stimulation in the field of self-care and orientation in space. 9. Specifics of diagnostics in pupils with severe disability and concomitant disability of multiple defects. 10. Strategy and creation of individual educational plan. 11. Autism – definition, characteristics of triad disability. 12. Autism – specifics of diagnostics, importance of interdisciplinary cooperation. 13. Autism – specifics in education, support strategies, TEACH program. 14. Autism – new approaches in education, Son-rice approach, Model SCERTS. 15. Autism – specifics in the field of communication.
