- Knowledge of basic theories of social psychology. Knowledge of basic phenomena that occur in the social group. Knowledge of the processes that occur when assessing others.

- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the context of early care for children from socio-culturally disadvantaged backgrounds. The context of care for children from socio-culturally disadvantaged backgrounds will be described from the perspective of psychological theories.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will:
- be familiar with the legislative and social framework for early care for socio-culturally disadvantaged children (hereinafter referred to as "children");
- identify factors that prevent successful integration and inclusion of children in teacher’s personal approach;
- identify factors that prevent successful integration and inclusion of children in a particular social environment;
- apply psychological theories of personality in the preparation of meetings with children and their parents;
- apply theories of developmental psychology for the preparation of care for children; - Syllabus

- Stereotypes associated with children from socio-culturally disadvantaged backgrounds and their psychological foundations.
- Theory of developmental psychology in the context of socio-culturally disadvantaged environment.
- Psychodynamic theories in the context of socio-culturally disadvantaged environment.
- Psychodynamic theories and healthy personality development.
- Games, activities and projects that support children from a socio-culturally disadvantaged environment.

- Theoretical preparation (reading of texts), group discussion over the studied topic, preparation of activities and interventions.
