- Prerequisites
- At the end of the course, the student will be able to understand the social climate in the classroom; on the basis of the acquired knowledge, he/she will be able to communicate better with individual students, their parents and the teacher. They will understand the group processes that take place in classroom collectives.

- Course objectives
- At the end of the course, the participant will be able to understand the social climate in the classroom; on the basis of the acquired knowledge, he will be better able to communicate with individual pupils, their parents and the teacher. They will understand the group processes that take place in class collectives. Emphasis will be placed primarily on mutual interaction and communication between teacher and teaching assistant. It will focus on the specific needs of pupils (SPU, hyperactivity disorders, autistic manifestations, etc.). Understands the competencies of a teaching assistant in preventing and solving problems in the school classroom. They will become familiar with the principles of motivation in education.

- Understand the competences of the teaching assistant in preventing and solving problems in the classroom. Learn the principles of motivation in education.
- Syllabus
- ● Motivation as a key process of the educational process, how can a teacher's assistant support the student's motivation. ● Possibilities of mediation between school, family and pupils ● Supporting cooperation between students and creating an inclusive classroom environment from the perspective of school psychology ● General socio-psychological professional skills of the pedagogue; self-awareness, self-reflection and getting to know others ● Introduction to the system for evaluating student work and student behavior; conflicts and their management, feedback ● Basics of learning psychohygiene ● The basis of the technique of targeted observation focused on the needs of the pupil and the basic technique of pedagogical diagnostics ● Pupil care system (performance and possibilities of the school, school counseling facilities, medical care, social services, crisis intervention, non-state non-profit facilities) ● Cooperation of schools and school counseling facilities with workers from helping professions and with the Police of the Czech Republic
