- Course objectives
- The aim of this course is to acquire knowledge of metrology, conducting physics experiments, processing and evaluation of data. The emphasis is placed particularly on the acquisition of the experimental skills with the respect to the topics studied in the basic physics university course.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course the Participant will be able to apply: Knowledge: A comprehensive set of knowledge of conducting and processing measurements in physics with the emphasis on the relationship between the subject matter and reality, e.g. nature, home, technical applications, etc. Skills: To be able to conduct physics measurements in physics, build an experiment, choose the appropriate measuring method, process the data and make a reasonable estimate of the measurement uncertainties. Attitudes: To learn the value of objectivity and significance of the scientific work.
