Course objectives
The Students introduce with surface finishing of structure materials The aim of the course is to obtain structured knowledge about the topic of surface finishing of materials. Emphasis is placed on the logical structure of the science disciplines and to acquire knowledge and skills needed for teaching training and vocational subjects in secondary school. For these reasons, a large number of practical examples of linking the subject matter to practice, usability engineering, health and the environment, etc. are presented.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should know and be able to:
- Basic characteristics of the properties and use of materials from the topics I and II discussed.
- Describe the degradation of selected materials due to stress and environments.
- Use simple rules to treat selected materials against selected degradation effects.
- Create on the basis of knowledge of topics I and II. the content and methodical preparation of the teacher for the lesson unit.
