- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to introduce applied drama, a process-oriented drama in the context of social pedagogy. The process of action and reflection within the applied drama opens the possibility of using drama as a means of education. Students will be familiarized with selected methods of applied drama during the seminar.
- Learning outcomes
- After the seminar the student will be able to explain the relationship between the field of social pedagogy and applied drama. Students will be able to explain the different methods of applied drama, which they learned practically during the seminar. For example: Dramatic play, story drama, theater in education.

- In case of a study trip abroad, it is possible to take the course in an alternative form. The student will arrange a 20-hour internship - an opportunity for see direct practice - in a domestic or foreign organisation/organisations that applies drama (theatre) in the field of education, activism or health. The student will keep a reflective diary of all auditions, which will then be consulted with the tutor od the course. The student will submit a written paper supported by three professional sources of 2 pages describing the chosen method of applied drama used by the organisation.
