Prerequisites
The course takes place in parallel with the school practice and reflective seminars. The course effectively builds on the work with the pillars of teaching competence in previous undergraduate studies.

Course objectives
The course objective is to elaborate in depth on the didactic and disciplinary pillars of teaching competence in order to develop students' teaching skills in the single pillars progressively.
In the course, we work with the pillars of Progressive Objectives, Assessment is at the Beginning of Instructional Planning, Connection of Geography with curricular documents, Learning Tasks that Developing Geographical Thinking, and Geographical Thinking. Student activities result in student drafts of teaching materials.
Learning outcomes
Students produce drafts of teaching materials based on these pillars with the following outcomes:

Connection of Geography with Curricular Documents:
- Selects appropriate topic areas and expected outcomes for draft teaching preparations.
- Selects information, data, texts from textbooks or other sources that support the development of geographic thinking.
- Transforms key competencies into teaching strategies.

Geographical Thinking:
- Utilizes geographical questions of various orders in teaching materials.

Assessment is at the Beginning of Lesson Planning:
- Presents manifestations of student behavior of selected topics and the development of geographical thinking in  instructional preparation.

Progressive Objectives:
- Misconceptions of geographical thinking.
- Presents the steps of achieving the development of geographical thinking in teaching.

Learning Tasks Developing Geographical Thinking:
- Presents learning tasks that can be used to develop geographical thinking.

Individual, pair and group work with professional information sources. Presentation of individual / pair / group work results at the seminar.
