Cíle předmětu
Cílem kurzu je poukázat na kritické body při získávání, analýze a interpretaci archeologických dat. Na základě případových studií z aktuálního výzkumu doby bronzové v Evropě budou studenti vedeni ke kritickému hodnocení a realistickému nazírání vlastních archeologických dat a také ke kritickému nazírání archeologických publikací.
Výstupy z učení
Student bude po absolvování předmětu schopen:
- identifikovat kritické body při získávání archeologických dat;
- kriticky hodnotit archeologická data před započetím i v průběhu jejich analýzy;
- kriticky hodnotit odborné publikace;
- napsat argumentačně promyšlenou studii.
Osnova
  • 1. Importy (tzv. exotics) v evropském pravěku, možnosti jejich analýzy a interpretace na příkladu jantaru;
  • 2. Pravěké kulturní souvrství v kontextu – výzkum, analýza a interpretace (rovinná sídliště, nákolní sídliště, Federsen Wierde, Hosty ...);
  • 3. Nola + Théra (Santorini) – katastrofy v evropském Pravěku a archeologie;
  • 4. Terénní výzkum a analýza kostrových pohřebišť starší doby bronzové na příkladu únětických pohřebišť v Miškovicích a Mikulovicích;
  • 5. Izotopie stroncia a kyslíku ... – možnosti využití ve výzkumu mobility počátků doby bronzové v Evropě
  • 6. Další témata ad hoc podle času … (Tollense, Bruszczewo, Vráble ...).

Přednáška, referát na semináři, diskuse ve skupině, domácí četba, příprava studie.
Metody hodnocení
Předpokladem úspěšného absolvování kurzu je kromě aktivní práce na seminářích také vypracování písemného referátu (10 NS textu + literatura, vč. odkazů v textu + obr. přílohy) a jeho prezentace (15 minut z patra, minimálně 15 fólií, s dodržením časového limitu).
