Course objectives
Students should have a B2 (Common European Framework of Reference) level of German language competence. At the end of this course students should be able to communicate on various, also professional topics, to understand the main ideas of texts, to follow the discussion, to respond fluently and to explain their opinions
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the students will be able to: communicate on various topics, give a presentation on a topic from your field and lead a discussion about it, argue, write a letter, answer questions about reading and listening texts as well as texts from an academic environment.

The credit course is completed by an exam. Active participation in seminars is required in the course. The final assessment consists of continuous tasks assigned during the semester and an oral exam (conversation, picture - expression of opinion, argumentation, presentation)

Course objectives
Students should have a B2 (Common European Framework of Reference) level of German language competence. The course is focusing at academic text comprehension, ability to communicate and present academic topics. Student should be able to follow an academic discussion, understand the main ideas of academic texts of his / her field of study, interact with a native speaker fluently and spontaneously and explain his / her opinion on current issues.

The aim of the course is to achieve the B2 level (based on the Common European Framework of Reference) of German language competence.They can understand the main ideas of relatively complex text on both concrete and academic/professional topics, including discussions in their field of specialisation. Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of academic/professional subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

Publicistický text, dějiny starého Řecka a Říma ve vztahu k novodobým evropským dějinám. Das Leben in der DDR und nach der Wende. Sociologický text srovnávající životní styl v NDR a v jejích nástupnických nových spolkových zemí. Im Land der Barbaren. Vědecky populární text o životnm stylu starých Germánů. Deutsche Historienmalerei im 18. Jh. Zásady komozice barokního malířství. Veraenderungen des Stadtbildes von Nowgorod-Gorkij. Kulturně historický text, teorie pojmu městské kultury. Rozsah textů se může během semestru změnit. Všechny texty studenti dostanou ve výuce.

U zkoušky studenti zpracovávají tři písemné otázky, týkající se odborných textů, procvičovaných během semestru. Součástí je i doma vypracovaný překlad odborného textu dle vlastního výběru z N do Č, doplněný slovníčkem základních pojmů. O tomto textu musí student umět referovat německy. Důraz se klade na porozumění odborného textu a jeho jednoduchou, ale kompetentní interpretaci.

U zkoušky studenti zpracovávají tři písemné otázky, týkající se odborných textů, procvičovaných během semestru. Součástí je i doma vypracovaný překlad odborného textu dle vlastního výběru z N do Č, doplněný slovníčkem základních pojmů. O tomto textu musí student umět referovat německy. Důraz se klade na porozumění odborného textu a jeho jednoduchou, ale kompetentní interpretaci.

  • CJV 04 POZOR: uvedené texty se každoročně aktualizují podle nově získávaných pramenů. Seznam vybraných textů: Ein unerschoepflicher Quell. Publicistický text, dějiny starého Řecka a Říma ve vztahu k novodobým evropským dějinám. Das Leben in der DDR und nach der Wende. Sociologický text srovnávající životní styl v NDR a v jejích nástupnických nových spolkových zemí. Im Land der Barbaren. Vědecky populární text o životnm stylu starých Germánů. Deutsche Historienmalerei im 18. Jh. Zásady komozice barokního malířství. Veraenderungen des Stadtbildes von Nowgorod-Gorkij. Kulturně historický text, teorie pojmu městské kultury. Rozsah textů se může během semestru změnit. Všechny texty studenti dostanou ve výuce.
