- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is the introduction to the history of the historiography and historicism, from the ancient age to the postmodern era. Students will be able to understand basic trends of the history of historiography and historicism. They will be able to interpret new concepts and issues related to the topics.
- Learning outcomes
- Students should know the relationship development between historiography and historicism from the ancient era to postmodern period,
critical interpretation of historiographic texts,
the knowledge of the principal authors and works,
the knowledge of the contemporary methodical and conceptual problems. - Syllabus
