The course is open to those interested in the issue of all levels, disciplines, dispositions and individual interests. No special prerequisites or knowledge are required. The student's musical knowledge and skills will not be reviewed or tested in any way. The key is the interest and desire to learn new things, as well as the interest to get involved.

Course objectives
The aim of the course is to offer a comprehensive view of the current development of musicology, and to provide a critical insight into the various thematic areas of this evolution of musicology.
Learning outcomes
After accomplishment, the student will be able to professionally discuss current trends in the development of musicology, with coverage of systematically and historiographically profiled research field. The course will offer interested parties an overview of current research areas, new research directions and emerging areas of musicology.
