- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to introduce students to the basic topics and current trends in psychological aspects of cancer prevention, with an emphasis on the interconnection of psychology with applied practice in primary, secondary and tertiary prevention.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will acquire relevant knowledge and basic skills necessary for psychological work in the field of prevention, focusing on the general population, at-risk groups and patients with diagnosed diseases. Within the course, they will cooperate on the outcomes that will be implemented in practice on the basis of specific assignments from the application practice, they will visit the Educational Centre of the Masaryk Cancer Institute and they will be introduced to the visions of the MCI in the area of the establishment of the planned Prevention Centre.

- The outline will be specified after the schedule of the term possibilities of the Masaryk Cancer Institute staff has been established.

- Case studies, group discussions, group projects.

- A condition for successful completion of the course is the completion of the tasks assigned in the course (to be specified at the beginning of the semester).
