Course objectives
The goal of the course is for students to become familiar with various topics that can be addressed in class and at the same time try to find possible ways to work with the class within the framework of a specific issue.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to recognize different types of classroom climate and will be able to think about how he can work effectively with a specific class. In addition to classroom climate tips, he will be able to work with other topics that the class can address.
Syllabus
  • 1. Introduction to class work; order discovery; working with class rules; the importance of working with the school class 2. Classroom climate; climate typology; methods of determining classroom climate; factors affecting classroom climate 3. Work with a new team; differentiation of new collectives; the difference of working with different collectives 3. Work with a non-cohesive team; working with a non-cohesive team in a classic class x in a performance-oriented class 4. Working with psychohygiene in the classroom from the position of school psychologists 5. Prevention x intervention; orders with which we work in intervention or as part of prevention 6. Bullying; what is bullying; stages of bullying; working with the class in individual stages of bullying Identifying the causes of problem behavior Preventive measures and methods of intervention How to respond to different types of inappropriate behavior (passive/aggressive) 7. Examples of activities for working with the class 8. Comparison of work with the class within different disciplines

Assessment methods
Completion requirements: 1. 80% participation in seminars. 2. Active participation in seminars - participating in discussions 3. Home preparation - work with the case studies; finding ways to work with a specific class 4. Creation of a design for a preventive or intervention program (3-5 NS)

If fewer than 12 students enroll, the course will not be implemented. At the end of each seminar, students will be presented with a case study related to a specific class. Students will then look for ways to work most effectively with the given class as part of their homework.
