Course objectives
The main goal of the course is to give students an insight into real case studies from the environment of a psychiatric hospital. The seminars will be focused on the differential diagnosis of a wide range of diagnoses encountered while working in clinical psychology.
Learning outcomes
During the semester, students will become familiar with the course of psychodiagnostic examination within individual case studies; the most common diagnoses they may encounter during practice in healthcare facilities; they will learn to independently think about the differential diagnosis of various types of disorders and diseases; they will be able to make diagnostic balances based on the results of individual psychodiagnostic methods.

  • Larning the course of psychodiagnostic examination through individual case reports: clinical observation, anamnesis, status praesens psychicus; differential diagnosis, selection of appropriate methods; clinical balance; evaluation of the conclusion of the examination

Assessment methods
1) Active participation in lectures 2) Final colloquium: The course ends with a colloquium (graded P/N). Students will receive a psychodiagnostic examination order in the group - they will set questions for an anamnestic interview, hypotheses, choose suitable diagnostic methods for their verification and present a developed differential diagnosis.
