Course objectives
The aim of the course is to train students abilities to critically apply their knowledge in the field of the Brno city. The course consists of preparation and realization of 5-6 excursions to different, religiously significant places in Brno. The students will actively participate in the preparation of particular excursions.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the students will be able to: - provide a short overview of religious life in Brno - characterize selected religiously relevant places or monuments in Brno including their short history and current state - communicate with the representatives of particular religious groups correctly - prepare and organize a short excursion including an expert commentary

Teaching methods
Organizational meeting, discussions, research, excursion, presentation.
Assessment methods
In the course there is a continuous assessment, the student gradually collects a maximum of 200 points through his/her activity, for successful completion of the course it is necessary to obtain at least 60% of the  200 points, i.e. a minimum of 120 points. Points are awarded as follows: (a) Submission of a proposal of five different sites according to the instructions given in the Course Study Materials. The assignment is scored with a maximum of 20 points. b) Participation in the excursions on the announced dates, individual participation is awarded 20 points, total participation is a maximum of 100 points. c) Participation in classroom meetings (3 times) is scored individually for a maximum of 10 points, for a total of 30 points. d) Timely written submission of material related to the chosen site, prepared in groups, is scored for a maximum of 20 points. e) Final written test, 60% of the maximum total of 30 points is required for successful completion.
