  • V části II. se kurz zaměřuje na období od reformace (15.stol.) do současnosti. Přednášky začínají výkladem reformačního hnutí s přihléd-nutím k dějinám české reformace, z něhož se odvozují základní znaky novověkých dějin křesťanství (vztah k osvícenství, protireformační hnutí, mystické proudy novověku apod.). Pozornost při výkladu dějin 18.-19.stol. je věnována utváření moderních křesťansko-filosofických škol (tübingenské školy, Marechalova škola, katolický modernismus ad.), zatímco dějiny křesťanského myšlení ve 20.stol. jsou podány prostřednictvím portrétů jeho nejvýznamnějších představitelů (K.Barth, R.Bultmann, D.Bonhoeffer, P.Tillich, H.Gollwitzer, E.Brunner, K.Rahner, R.Guardini, J.Maritain, Teilhard de Chardin, J.B.Metz, J.Lonergan ad.).
