- Course objectives
- The lecture will present Komenskýs life and work in connection with the development of society and with the Czech literary production of his time.
- Syllabus
- The lecture will follow the themes and genres that contributed to thinking and genre system of the time: polemics, consolations, encyclopedias, literary theory, didactics, biblistic works. It will attempt at presenting the work of Komenskýs contemporaries and the development of Komenskýs studies.
