Cíle předmětu
V kursu se zaměříme na melodramatické tendence v kontextu světového němého filmu, s důrazem na tvorbu D.W.Griffithe, Victora Sjöströma ad. Pokusíme se o historicko teoretickou reflexi žánru s přihlédnutím k feministickým teoriím a gender studiím a k problematice diváka. Kolokvium: písemná práce.
