- Course objectives
- The Inter-Medial Theory of Film. In the age of television, VCR, digital image, etc. it is no longer possible for film studies to understand film as a mono-medial art. Film becomes a form moving accross different media and achieving different hybrid expressions. The lecture will introduce the basic postulates of the new, inter-medial theory (and history) of film, using concrete examples for analysis.
