- Kurz podává základní informace o vzniku a postupném formování religionistiky jako samostatného vědeckého oboru. Pozornost je věnována zejména problematice vývoje a formování metodologických přístupů ke studiu náboženství a seznámení s významnými postavami dějin oboru s přihlédnutím k současnému dění.
