Course objectives (in Czech)
Součástí semináře R. Vlčka je tematický a metodologický rozbor dostupné české a zahraniční literatury vztahující se k výše uvedenému tématu a základy interpretace pramenů orientovaných na stěžejní světové akce a formování mocenských koalicí (Vídeňský kongres, Svatá aliance, Berlínský kongres, Haagská mírová konference, protiruská koalice v krymské válce, Spolek Tří císařů, Trojspolek, Dohoda). Součástí semináře J. Hanuše je četba autorů, kteří se věnují tematice dějin kultury a civilizace v 19. století (F. Furet, Ch. Charle, R. Rémond, L. Huntová apod.), a rozbor díla významných osobností (Goethe, Tocqueville, Marx, Disraeli, Freud); diskuse probíhá nad dílem J. Burckhardta Úvahy o světových dějinách.
