Course objectives
Interpretation of poems by Vítězslav Nezval The course aims at the interpretation of selected poems by Vítězslav Nezval representing different periods of the poet's literary production. (Form: students' individual presentations, in-class interpretation.)
Syllabus
  • 1. Most. 2. Podivuhodný kouzelník. 3. Pantomima. 4. Edison. 5. Akrobat. 6. Skleněný havelok. 7. Žena v množném čísle. 8. Praha s prsty deště. 9. Matka Naděje. 10. Pět minut za městem. 11. Veliký orloj. 12. Stalin, Zpěv míru, Z domoviny (Nezval v první polovině padesátých let). 13. Křídla, Chrpy a města. 14. Nedokončená.
Assessment methods (in Czech)
Podmínkou pro ukončení semináře bude písemná práce, v níž bude s využitím odborné literatury interpretována některá Nezvalova báseň nebo básnická skladba (obsah práce bude shodný s tím, co si posluchači připravili pro vystoupení v semináři).
