Course objectives
The aim of the seminar is to present the development of the Czech historical novel. As part of the course, we will look at the theoretical definition of this genre form and give a chronological overview of the works written by Czech authors of the 20th century
Syllabus
  • The seminar will provide the students with a basic outline of the Czech historical novel production, with the major themes and tendencies. The works to be studied will be assigned to the students in the form of reports and supplementary papers
